 새 정부(政府)는 과거의 어문정책(語文政策)을 재검토해야 한다. 새 정부(政府)는 과거의 어문정책(語文政策)을 재검토해야 한다. 필자 : 신태환 ( 본회 이사장 ) 호수 : 제29호 해방이후(解放以後) 우리 나라 어문정책(語文政策)의 변천과정(變遷過程)을 보면 '48년 10월 한글전용법(專用法)이 공포(公布)되었고 '51년 9월에 상용한자(常用漢字) 2,000자를 제정공포(制定公布)하였고 '57년에는 사용빈도(使用頻度)가 높은 한자 300자를 추가(追加)해서 1,300자를 임시사용한자(臨時使用漢字)로 공포하였다. 이런 취지(趣旨)와는 반대(反對)로 판결문(判決文)·공문서(公文書)·간행물(刊行物) 등의 한글 전용(專用)을 시행(施行)토록 하는 등 우왕좌왕(右往左往)하다가 '68년 5월에는 한글 전용5개년계획(專用五個年計劃)이라는 것이 발표(發表)되었으며, 초·중·고교 교과서에서 한자를 삭제(削除)하는 제도(制度)가 국무총리훈령(國務總理訓令)으로 조치(措置)되었고, 그래서 만 5년간(滿五年間) 한자교육이 중단(中斷)에 직면(直面)하게 되었다. 그러다가 '73년 3월 여론(輿論)에 못 이기어 중고교교육(中高校敎育) 기초한자 각각 900자 즉 1,800자를 확정(確定), 한자교과서에 한하여 그 사용을 다시 시작하게 되었다. 다시 '83년 7월 국회에서 한자교육문제가 거론되자 정부에서는 국어교육연구소(國語敎育硏究所)를 만들어, 보다 체계적(體系的)인 연구를 하게 하였다. 끝으로 '91년 12월 교육부장관에게 한자교육정상화(漢字敎育正常化)를 위한 관계단체장(關係團體長)들의 건의서(建議書)가 제출(提出)된 바가 있다. 상술(上述)한 바와 같이 해방후의 언어정책(言語政策)을 돌이켜보면 문자(文字) 그대로 혼미(混迷)를 거듭해 왔고 현재도 정착(定着)된 것이 없다고 해도 과언(過言)은 아닐 것이다. 이런 결과(結果), 오랜 역사의 한국문화(韓國文化)가 묻혀 있는 한자에 대해 젊은 세대들에게 문맹(文盲)·지적(知的) 공백상태(空白狀態)를 가져다 주었다. 사실 한글 세대라고 부르는, 오늘의 한국사회(韓國社會)를 짊어지고 있는 젊은 세대들은 문자교육 때문에 문화적으로 심한 동요(動搖)를 경험(經驗)하고 있고 이것이 오늘의 우리 사회의 크나큰 불안요인(不安要因)이 되어 있다고 할 수 있다. 자세한 이론(理論)이야 어쨌든 현실생활에서 볼 때 책·신문·잡지·간판에 이르기까지 한글·한자가 무분별(無分別)하게 혼용(混用)되고 있는 것을 볼 때 후세들을 위해 우리는 부끄러움조차 느낀다. 그런데 구미(歐美)의 이른바 외래문화(外來文化)가 밀어닥치는 요즈음 이를 젊은 세대들이 무비판적(無批判的)으로 받아들일뿐 아니라 전통문화(傳統文化)를 회피(回避)하려는 경향(傾向)조차 있어 고유(固有)의 문화와 풍속(風俗)이 제자리를 잡지 못하는 기현상(奇現象)이 일어나고 있다. 우리는 이땅의 고전문화 속에 수천년(數千年)을 살아왔는데 그 순화(醇化)된 한국적개성(韓國的個性)을 버리고 외래(外來) 것에 탐익(耽溺)하여 주객(主客)이 바뀐 세태(世態)를 산다고 하는 것은 매우 위험한 것이다. 고전문화(古典文化)가 없는 폐허(廢墟) 위에서는 서구사회(西歐社會)에서 성숙(成熟)한 고도(高度)의 문화도 자리잡을 수 없고 문화적공동화(文化的空洞化)만 심화(深化)된다. 우리의 고전적(古典的)인 흐름 가운데 공감(共感)되는 서구문화(西歐文化)의 합류(合流)만이 생명(生命)의 창조성(創造性)을 찾게 하고 세계문화(世界文化)의 광장(廣場)에서 한국적개성이 빛을 낼 것이다. 그래서 다시 말하거니와 장구(長久)한 세월을 두고 순화(醇化)된 한자문화를 다시 검토(檢討)해야 한다. 우리가 오늘날 사용하고 있는 한자 내지 한자문화와 한글문화를 재검토(再檢討)해서 각각 제자리를 잡게 하고 마구잡이로 우리의 귀중(貴重)한 한자에 묻힌 고전문화를 버리려고 해서는 안 된다. 1993년 3월 민족문화추진회보  ed hardy: ghds ghd hair straightener ghd hair straightener on sale tiffany necklace -[07/15-16:31]- ed hardy: thomas sabo armbänder thomas sabo charm armbänder -[07/15-16:31]- tdvdsywfn: How you can renew broker that is perfect for a persons vision to achieve great outcomes.
